Welcome to Acorns Primary School's Website.

I am very proud to be Headteacher at Acorns School and I warmly welcome your interest in our wonderful school.

Acorns is a primary special school which provides a specialist learning environment for pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties including moderate and severe learning difficulties, complex needs and autism. We meet the needs of pupils aged 2–11 years.

We are a happy, nurturing specialist learning environment. Our most recent OFSTED report stated “The partnership with parents is outstanding, making sure that parents are fully informed and involved in what happens to their child is always given priority”

Our curriculum is rich, broad and balanced. We have high expectations of our pupils who benefit from our extremely dedicated, skilled and enthusiastic staff. We welcome visits to our school to be able to share our vision and achievements.

Our school motto is Achieve, Celebrate, Opportunity, Respect, Nurture, and Success.

I hope you enjoy finding out more about our school by browsing our website. Paper copies of the information contained here can be provided free of charge and in any format. Our amazing office team will be happy to help with any queries you may have.
