Within the Cedar class, we continue to build on our play skills and social interactions on a regular basis. Although we do have elements of learning at the tables, we will do a lot of learning through play.

 

Within our environment, we do a lot of regulation, communication and social interactions daily to help us become strong and independent learners by using a TEACHH approach within our sessions. We enjoy many walks around the park, we have small, targeted groups to collect our weekly shopping, and we LOVE our attention autism sessions.

 

We do some amazing and creative topics such as amazing me, colour my world, how does my garden grow and bear hunt. We also cover a range of celebration topics such as Easter, Christmas and other religious events.

 

We have lots of different activities that happen throughout our week, such as regulation swimming, rugby tots, Thrive and some focused intervention work for our students.

 

We have such an amazing staff team that will treat your child as their own and make them feel safe and welcome into our class.
