Maple Class 2025 - 2026

Mrs Mcilwraith

Maple Class

In Maple class we enjoy learning through our senses. We like attention autism, messy play and musical activities.

We require different regulation activities and a structured routine throughout the day to ensure that we are ready to learn. We are working hard to develop independence and life skills.

We complete daily activities to improve our fine motor and gross motor skills.  We use a variety of different communication aids to help us to communicate our wants and needs, and to support our learning throughout the curriculum.

We love sensory stories and use colourful semantics to communicate who we can see, what they are doing and where. We enjoy community visits to a variety of different places including parks, shops and cafes.

We feel loved and safe in Maple class. We make good relationships with staff and peers.
