Governors
Our School Governors
The governing body at Acorns plays a vital role in shaping the school’s vision, ensuring high standards of education, and advocating for the needs of all pupils. Our governors come from diverse backgrounds, including education, healthcare, and the local community, bringing valuable expertise to guide strategic decisions. Our parent governors are SEND experts bringing unique element to the governing body. They advocate for and promote pupil and family voice. The Governors work closely with school leaders to oversee policies, monitor progress, and promote a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can flourish. Dedicated to representing the voices of families and staff, our governors help drive continuous improvement and celebrate each pupil’s achievements.
