Curriculum Intent
Each layer of our curriculum ensures that our children develop the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes to achieve their full potential and to open a world of future opportunities. Our curriculum is responsive to each child, building on their individual strengths, personal interests and learning styles and is designed to enable our pupils to
move between layers and continually build upon their previous knowledge and skills.
Our curriculum is bespoke to Acorns and has been developed by us to meet the very specific needs of our unique children, irrespective of their starting point. We believe that
our curriculum is ambitious and prepares our children to embark on the next stage of their educational journey.
We strive to develop stimulating learning environments both inside the school building and outside of the confines of the classroom, promoting learning through positive outdoor
experiences routed in real-life situations.
