Oak Class

Our teacher is Gill, supported by our teaching assistants Sharon, Helen, Shenaz and Aisha. Ellie also helps to support us at lunchtime.

In Oak Class, we enjoy a wide range of exciting and meaningful activities. These include walks in the park, visits to Sainsbury’s, swimming, maths games, sensory stories, PE, and time in our trampoline yard. We especially love music and enjoy listening to songs together. Getting out into the community and visiting different places of interest is something we really look forward to.

Outdoor learning is very important to us. We also enjoy raising money for our class by selling items we have baked. We love researching what we can bake, planning our recipes, and buying ingredients from Sainsbury’s. Our learning is made fun and engaging through a range of wonderful and exciting topics.

We are an active class and build movement into our daily routine. Developing independence is a key focus, and we understand how important these skills are for our future. Oak Class also enjoys helping others; we have special jobs that support other classes and teachers and help us lead by example.
